Ian McAnearney has a background in International marketing, business development and consulting gained in strategic and operational roles at Bull, NYNEX and Sharp Electronics. Consultancy assignments include projects in the UK and Europe included ICL and British Gas.

Ian has been involved in executive search for ten years with a particular emphasis on early stage technology companies. He’s an economics graduate with an MBA and is a former professional footballer.

Richard is passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship. Since founding Catalyst Richard has worked with and helped create over 50 companies including Razor Fish, TBSC, ClassWatch, and Claritum. Richard is a Director of Catalyst Tripos a specialist recruitment company  and Catalyst IFG a loan finance company.  Richard’s early career was in Economic Development working for a variety of institutions including the World Bank, the African Development Bank and the UN.  Richard  joined  KPMG in 1987 and  became a partner in their East European Consultancy Practice in 1991.  In 1993 Richard joined  London Economics as head of Media and Communications consultancy.  Richard founded Catalyst in 2000 building on his experiences as private investor in London. Richard holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Reading and is a qualified Corporate Financier.

Terry Booth has been involved in business consultancy and executive search for the past ten years.

Previously he had over twenty years experience in senior management positions in the European and international software industry. He has held Vice President positions for International Sales with Micro Decisionware and Sybase as well as being Managing Director for UK companies, Texas Instruments Software, Systems Centre and Cincom Systems.

Experience ranges from European and international start ups to full P&L responsibility over multiple geographic regions. Prior to entering the software industry Terry was Head of Systems Development for Brook Bond Oxo, now part of Unilever.

Peter Dixon has over ten successful years in senior Executive Search and top team mentoring. He works with both large enterprises and SME across Europe, specialising in communications, media and content, and business services sectors.

In the 1990s, he was a leading management consultant, working globally in re-engineering, change management and strategy consulting, in fixed and mobile telecommunications. He was a Partner with PA Consulting.

This was preceded by senior Corporate roles in general management, marketing, and business strategy with European, US and Japanese multi-nationals.

Peter is a linguist, an MBA from CASS, and is a visiting tutor at business colleges in the West.
